Where I wanted to put the new safe severely limited my options because of a very narrow stairway with a sharp turn. My new home is setup very different and my collection has also grown. I had to sell before I relocated from TX to NJ. Didn't hold close to 30 long guns, as I never figured out where they got their capacity numbers from. I used to have a Stack-On 30 gun safe I got for about 700 bucks shipped and it served its purposes very well. You would think their smaller size, lack of insulation and shelving would lead to a cheaper product but they have no competition in their little niche. I think they are a bit overpriced, but unfortunately they are the only product in between the cheapo gun cabinets that you could open with a can opener and the entry level fireproof safes. This gives me access to my firearms from different locations and would require a thief more time to get to all of them. With an online coupon this was cheaper than even the smallest modular Snapsafe.
